Travel within 20 miles of central San Diego is included with our services. Travel beyond this distance is available for an additional mileage fee.

I commonly support clients in areas such as La Jolla, Coronado, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Poway, and nearby coastal and inland communities.

If you're located farther away, feel free to reach out — extended travel may be available depending on scheduling and distance.

You can request post-procedure escort services by calling directly or submitting a booking request through our website. Additional services, such as in-home support or personal concierge, are scheduled by phone to ensure proper coordination.

When booking online, you’ll complete a short form with details about your procedure, location, and estimated discharge timing. Once reviewed, availability will be confirmed and you’ll receive a service agreement and invoice to secure your booking.

We recommend booking as soon as your procedure is scheduled to ensure availability, as appointments can fill quickly.

Most clients secure their post-procedure escort services one to several weeks in advance once their procedure date is confirmed.

If your procedure is coming up soon, feel free to reach out — last-minute availability may still be possible, but is not guaranteed.

Yes. I arrive at the surgery center and remain available until you are cleared for discharge. I can receive discharge instructions from the medical staff and assist you safely from the facility to the vehicle if needed. 

Surgery times can sometimes shift or run later than expected. DIA remains available during the discharge window and will wait until you are released by the surgery center. Additional waiting time fees may apply depending on the length of the delay.

Yes. Clients may be transported to their home, hotel, or recovery accommodation following discharge from the surgery center. 

No. DIA provides non-medical escort and transportation services only. All medical care, instructions, and post-operative guidance are provided by your surgeon or medical team. 

Yes. Most surgery centers accept professional escort services for discharge requirements when a patient does not have a friend or family member available. Policies may vary by facility, so we recommend confirming with your surgery center in advance. 

Clients are transported in a clean, comfortable private SUV designed to provide a calm and discreet ride home after surgery. 

DIA operates Monday–Thursday from 7:00am–6:00pm and Friday from 7:00am–12:00pm. Extended, weekend, and holiday services are available at premium rates and subject to availability. 

Because service time is reserved specifically for each client, we require advance notice for cancellations.

7+ days notice: Full refund 

3–7 days notice: 50% retained 

Less than 72 hours: Non-refundable 

We’re happy to accommodate rescheduling with sufficient notice and availability.

Yes. The DIA Group maintains appropriate business liability and commercial auto insurance coverage for non-medical escort and transportation services, ensuring protection for both clients and the business while services are being provided. Documentation can be provided upon request for surgery centers or clients who require verification.
